They are each filled with soy wax, also these wooden bowls are made to look rustic from raw wood. Some may have knots, scratches, knife marks, saw blade marks, sap, or minor cracks. These are not defects. These are a natural part of a bowl that has been made from raw wood. Size, color, and shape will vary.

Soy Wax is biodegradable and cleans up with soap and water. That makes reusing and repurposing easy!

Instructions for the Dough Bowl Candle

-Burn Instructions: On the first burn allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the bowl about ¼-1/2 in deep, this will help to achieve full fragrance throw and prevent tunneling.

-Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than

4 hours at a time. Trim the wicks after every use down to ¼ of an inch to prevent the flame from being too big and creating a fire hazard.

-Keep away from drafts. Keep away from the reach of children and pets, and never burn your

Candle on a surface that could catch fire.

-Our candles are all poured in small batches or made to order. Slight differences in wax color, and because each bowl is hand carved slight differences in wax color, and because each bowl is hand carved slight differences in shape and size can occur.

-To Clean: Pop wicks out carefully with a butter knife and clean with soap and warm water to remove wax, and wipe dry and let sit overnight.

-To reuse: Can be used as décor after drying.
